Been trying for days to run malwarebytes, normal mode safe mode, after running rkill( which finds nothing), atthe start of this at one point MWB indicated it had found 16 infections, but had locked up so i had to hard reboot to get the system running. Now everytime it runs it get about 1min 45 seconds in to C: WINDOWS SYSTEM32 NlsData003e.dll and the time elapsed counter stops and MWB just doesn progress past that point, i left it last time for an hour. If then i try to pause or canel the scan, the MWB windows goes gray and it says 'not responding' next to malware bytes at the top left of the window. The whole system tehn become unresponsive. When RKill runs it will kill malware processes and then removes incorrect executable associations and fixes policies that stop us from using certain tools. When finished it will display a log file that shows the processes that were terminated while the program was running. As RKill only terminates a program's running process, and does not delete any files, after running it you should not reboot your computer as any malware processes that are configured to start automatically will just be started again. Instead, after running RKill you should immediately scan your computer using the requested scans I've included.
Go to click on Downloads in the menu. Under 'Wifi Bat High Power USB Wifi', select the driver for Windows operating systems. I also wanted to point out that this should work for any computer with a Ralink WiFi adapter that is.
Please download Rkill by Grinler from one of the links below and save it to your desktop. • On Windows XP double-click on the Rkill desktop icon to run the tool. • On Windows Vista/Windows 7 or 8, right-click on the Rkill desktop icon and select Run As Administrator • A black DOS box will briefly flash and then disappear.
